earlier it has been a day of fog and temps in the high 50's! Got to
Harris Beach (Brookings) at around 7:30 pm. A little late for me -
especially considering I hit the road around 7:30am! Went for a short
hike to Thunder rock cove. The fog was above me so got some nice
vistas. I had laid my bike down to go on the hike and somehow bent my
chain spent an hour rebending it by hand back into shape. All and all
a good 85 mile day. I cross into California in less than ten miles - I
have logged 730 miles and running a calorie deficiet of about 31,000.
Phil I did roll by your old house but I think the mailbox with the 22
hole is gone.
